Keep in mind when adding these to your cart that there will be two different options you can choose from –

• Walmart Cash – this is what you’ll see by default while in the app. When viewing a product in the app, you may see something similar to “Claim $2 Walmart Cash!”
• Ibotta – this is a separate rebate app that essentially does the same thing – but you are not confined to using your cash back just at Walmart. Here, your earnings accumulate and once you hit $20 you can cash out to your bank or use it towards a digital gift card.

You’ve Been Warned

When deciding on which cash back offer you want to use, be careful. You will not receive cash back from both Walmart and Ibotta.

If you are looking at an offer in the Walmart app and an offer on Ibotta and clip them both, you will automatically receive the Walmart offer if you have both clipped.

For example, if I chose a Schick razor at $9.97 and had both $4 offers clipped (on the Walmart app AND within Ibotta), I would ONLY receive the $4 Walmart Cash offer.

Additionally, SOME offers on Ibotta are higher value than the Walmart app – it’s up to you to decide which you want to do, but keep in mind the note listed above.
