NEW Dollar General Clearance Event (June 13 – 19)

Guess what, friends? Dollar General has blessed us with yet another Clearance Event for the month of June – and this time, it’s running from Friday, June 13 through Thursday, June 19.

At this point, it feels like we’re having a new Clearance Event every month. Below are a few things I’m expecting from the event this go around:

I don’t think this event will be as heavy – hit as last time. I didn’t go to the event back in May for personal reasons, but I do know that it was chaotic for some people (unfortunately).
You will still have good chances of finding product. I understand that to those who didn’t score last time (like me!), your first thought will probably be that there isn’t going to be anything left. That is far from the truth. Even recently, I’ve been to some stores where I’ve seen laundry clearance from the last event with my own eyeballs. In previous events, I’ve seen product that I thought would be completely gone. Your chances are not zero.
Be willing to take your time, and do your research. A lot of these stores will not be marked – especially the laundry products. Look at the visuals over and over until they’re embedded into your brain.
THIS WILL BE AT EVERY STORE. I don’t care what your cashier said, I don’t care what your manager said. The memo that was sent out was for every store. The products shown below will be clearanced at EVERY store – but it is up to you to find and verify the correct ones (this is why research is important)! Not all stores will carry every single one of these products.
Be nice to the employees. I understand that clearance events can be frustrating sometimes, but imagine how it feels to them. This is a very stressful time for them and they’re likely overwhelmed – cut them some slack.
