Hey, I’m Tori.

I never thought I’d be teaching strangers how to save money.

In 2016, I became a mom. I also worked full time, but I felt like I was missing most of the milestones in my child’s life. The guilt and stress overcame me, and I decided to quit my job in order to be home with my child – that’s what was most important to me.

But of course, this came with the expected financial hardship. How would we afford to buy basic neccessities without going into debt?

One day, I was on the couch with my son and a rerun of the show “Extreme Couponing” was on TLC. As you could expect, I raised my eyebrow and was wondering if what they were showing was realistic. I thought, “Maybe I could search Facebook” and see if anything related would show up.

I stumbled upon a Facebook group that had a lot of members and was couponing related. Everything was very overwhelming at first – I had no idea what these people were talking about.

I studied this group for about a week, and decided I was going to be brave enough to attempt deals that others were doing during that sales cycle. It was a lot of trial and error, copying and pasting deals in real life – but once I understood what was coming off and why, I slowly started to create my own deals and get the hang of it.

Then one day it just hit me. I could be the person to help others and explain scenarios. This is where my social media began – thus, @iloveqpons was born. I’ll be the first to admit that I was not a seasoned couponer back then when I made my account – but I’m glad I did. Fast forward to the present and I have almost 386,000 friends across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube. I think of every single one of you as my friends!

I don’t want others going through what I’ve experienced in my life – and that is why as long as I’m able to, I’ll be sharing various deals from various retailers – and save a hot buck while you’re at it. I will always be there for those who need me most!
